Suffered a stroke in 1977, which almost stopped him from voicing Rabbit in As Muitas Aventuras do Ursinho Pooh (1977), but he managed to recover in time to do it.

Other than providing the voice of Rabbit for Winnie the Pooh movies, he also used his voice for a radio version of Pooh before the movies came out.
