Diminutive, stocky Irish-born character actress who came to note as Granny Fraser in the British TV soap "Crossroads" between 1964 and 1975. Her best film role was as Queen Victoria in A Vida Íntima de Sherlock Holmes (1970).
A stalwart of BBC Radio drama, and especially Children's Hour, until the late 1950s.
