Vivian Matalon
- Won Broadway's 1980 Tony Award as Best Director (Play) for a revival of "Morning's at Seven." In 1984, a Best Director (Musical) nomination followed for "The Tap Dance Kid."
- He was awarded the 1979 Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Play for "Morning's At Seven" at the Academy Festival Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
- He directed Noel Coward's last appearance in London's West End, in Coward's own "Suite In Three Keys" in 1966.
- Ollder brother of Zack Matalon.
