When playing the character "Todd" on Scrubs he often thinks of Michael Richards and his work with the character "Kramer" on Seinfeld.

He spent years doing Theater and Stand Up Comedy in New York before moving to Los Angeles to work on television.

Robert has 3 brothers, Michael a novelist, Patrick, a writer of short stories and screenplays and John, a musician. The brothers live in and around New York.

Robert is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City. He was an American Politics Major.

Robert is a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater. He was in one of the last classes to study with Sandy Meisner.
