Grew up in Zeeland, Netherlands, when he was a teenager he lived in Baarn, Netherlands, where he went to the HBS.

Won the 'Arlecchino' for his role in Arthur Miller's 'De Prijs'. (1969)

(1930s) Played in the first team of Hercules, football team in Utrecht, Netherlands. He stayed a member of Hercules until his dead.

Often played together with Pieter Lutz.
