She was the last person to be cast in Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte - Parte 2 (2011). Subsequently she was the last person ever to join the large cast of the 'Harry Potter' story.

For her role on Boardwalk Empire: O Império do Contrabando (2010), she was named one of the "8 Actors Who Turn Television into Art", in the cover story of The New York Times Magazine (9/11/11).

She has appeared in four films that have been nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: Elizabeth (1998), Assassinato em Gosford Park (2001), Em Busca da Terra do Nunca (2004) and Onde os Fracos Não Têm Vez (2007). The latter won in the category.

1999: Named as one of European films 'Shooting Stars' by European Film Promotion.

Trainspotting: Sem Limites (1996) was released on Kelly's 20th birthday.
