Began her career as a magazine print and commercial actress.

Attended East Orange High School in East Orange, New Jersey.

I think of myself as a very unfunny human being. But I'm almost always cast in comic roles.

I've been performing from my earliest memory," she says, explaining that she loved to sing for people the popular Oscar Hammerstein song "When I Grow Too Old to Dream".

In college, it began to dawn on me that I wasn't a good leading lady. There were other women who were just as good as me, but tall. And beautiful.
