Gave birth to her 1st child at age 31, a son named Oliver Michael Jacobs on June 29, 2011. Child's father is her husband, Matthew Jacobs.

Filmed a few appearances for the television series, "Manchester Prep" (1999), a spin-off of the hit movie Segundas Intenções (1999). She played "Millicent Davies", rival to Kathryn (Amy Adams). The series was not picked up despite having several episodes filmed, and was later edited to make the movie Segundas Intenções 2 (2000). Sarah's scenes were not used, although she appears frequently in the trailer.

Favorite bands include Radiohead.

Has co-starred in network TV shows with both Rick Gomez, on What About Brian (2006) and his brother Joshua Gomez, on Chuck (2007).

Father works in the Real Estate business and her mom is a teacher.
