- In later years, she took an active part alongside husband Stanley Kramer in their production company, International Films, and was in charge of the Kramer Library Group. One of their projects was a 1990s remake of Matar ou Morrer (1952).
- Jan Sterling became a friend and mentor of hers after meeting on the set of Epílogo de Sangue (1953). They later appeared together in Um Fio de Esperança (1954) and Armado Até os Dentes (1955).
- In the pilot for Johnny Ringo (1959), her role, Laura Thomas, was played by Marilyn Erskine, future husband Stanley Kramer's first wife.

- Although she made her film debut in Volúpia de Matar (1952), she didn't meet its producer, Stanley Kramer, until she co-starred in Jerry Lewis's Paramount vehicle O Bagunceiro Arrumadinho (1964). Kramer was shooting A Nau dos Insensatos (1965) on the Paramount lot at the same time. They married in 1966.
