  • In his salad days, he was a security guard for the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, worked on a construction gang in the South Seas, dubbed films in Paris, led tours of the Acropolis in Greece, and was a rock singer on the Via Veneto in Rome.
  • Engaged to be married four times, he ultimately never married.
  • His friend, Armistead Maupin, named a character in the "Tales of the Cities" books for Kincaid's birth name, Norman Neale Williams.
  • Once met Cecil B. DeMille and was offered a chance to work with the legendary director following college studies, but DeMille died in 1959 before the opportunity could arise.
  • Signs his portraits and caricatures of old Hollywood as "Aron Kincaid" but signs his landscapes and seascapes of California and Italy as "N.N. Williams".
  • Still has the sandals he wore in Spartacus (1960), in which he played a Roman soldier.
  • Cast in his first film, A Mulher Vespa (1959), as a beekeeper for Roger Corman, Aron neglected to inform Corman that he was deathly allergic to bee stings. All went well as he delivered his very first lines: "I try to take my inspiration from the bees, sir. Always busy, busy, busy!".
  • He was a painter as a child. His mother sold a portrait that 10-year-old Aron did of actress Viveca Lindfors for $100 in art supplies. In later years his various collections were acquired by Dean Martin, Glenn Ford, Sen. Barry Goldwater, Motown Records and major motion picture studios, including Universal, Disney and Twentieth Century-Fox.
  • Made the cover of Look magazine with fellow "Beach Party" performer Patti Chandler. At one point his fan mail topped even that of Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello combined, prompting American-International Pictures to offer Aron a seven-year contract.
  • While serving with the Coast Guard Reserves, he returned to Hollywood after six months' basic training at Government Island where he earned a medal for training a six-time winning crew in the San Francisco estuary. Over the next five-and-a-half years, he gave his time and service to the U.S.C.G.
  • Designed and painted movie campaigns and one-sheets as well as illustrating covers and stories for many national magazines, a series of one-man art shows and group shows (his last was with Dennis Hopper and Russ Tamblyn, he extols the benefits of being self taught with a continual obsession regarding observation, study and appreciation of his surroundings.
  • Pledged the original "Animal House" Delta Tau Delta at UCLA and earned his letterman sweater as an oarsman on the college crew team.
  • Enjoyed two "Beach Party" reunions in later years. The first was on May 31, 1985, at the Beverly Garland Travel Lodge in Studio City, California. Attendees included Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Fabian, Deborah Walley, Paul Gleason, Dick Dale, Michael Nader, John Findlater, Duane King, Meredith MacRae, Anita Mann, Pam Freeman, Roger Christian, Salli Sachse, Susan Hart, Bobbie Shaw Chance and Mikki Jamison. The second "Beach Party" reunion took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, on August 14, 1992, billed as the "Last Beach Party Ever". Attendees included William Wellman Jr., Jody McCrea, Tommy Kirk, Dwayne Hickman, Paul Gleason, Yvonne Craig, Ed Garner, Pam Freeman, Anita Mann, Julie Parrish, Meredith MacRae, Diane McBain, Noreen Corcoran, Susan Hart, Karen Jensen, Salli Sachse, Ahna Capri, Patti Chandler, Quinn O'Hara and Donna Loren.
  • Was a one-time spokesperson for Schick products.
  • Wrote the forward to author Thomas Lisanti's book on 1960s cinema entitled "Hollywood Surf and Beach Movies -- The First Wave 1959-1969".
