He and his wife, Valerie Mahaffey, have a daughter.

Studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles for two years, then returned to Canada to live and work in Toronto where he appeared in a number of CBC Productions and American shows filming there.

Born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, and was raised both there and then in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He then relocated to New York, and two years later, returned to Los Angeles where he has lived since.
