Illuminated through the story of Holocaust survivor, Naomi Warren, FINDING LIGHT takes the audience on a journey that is simultaneously situated in the past while making relevant connections to the present through the lens of dance. FINDING LIGHT is a multi-faceted film, which at its core seeks to use dance as a convener of conversation around issues related to the protection of human rights against bigotry and hate.

Stephen Mills' "Grimm Tales," a feature-length live performance film inspired by the visual art of Natalie Frank. "Grimm Tales" is a contemporary re-imagining of the 19th-century fairy tales-encompassed by Frank's vibrantly colored, nightmarish and riveting art. Tony Award-nominee Constance Hoffman brings fresh urgency and contemporary fashion to the costumes, along with the illustrious set designs of George Tsypin and an original score by renowned composer Graham Reynolds ("A Scanner Darkly," "Bernie," "Before Midnight") - "Grimm Tales" will indulge your senses. "POE: A Tale of Madness" is a virtual production short film about tormented writer, Edgar Allan Poe, who grapples with haunted specters of his own design as he strives to create a masterpiece...that quickly tumbles into a tale of madness.

"Belle REDUX / A Tale of Beauty and the Beast" is a contemporary live performance that reexamines the timeless story of Beauty and the Beast in a very non-traditional way. Ballet Austin Artistic Director and Choreographer Stephen Mills, Composer Graham Reynolds and Production Designer Michael B. Raiford have created a provocative and sensual retelling of this famous romance with sets and costumes that project fantastical, Alexander McQueen-type elements against a gritty, minimalist backdrop. The look and feel of the production, while very contemporary, was heavily influenced by the 1946 film noir, "La Belle et la Bête," by French filmmaker Jean Cocteau, and many stylistic elements, including the lighting design, are reflective of that ground-breaking movie. Graham Reynolds' haunting music blends classical instruments with industrial sounds to create a remarkable score that is both unsettling and soothing-commanding and hopelessly romantic.

"Romeo and Juliet" is a virtual production commercial / short film highlighting special moments from Stephen Mills' ballet based on Shakespeare's famous play.
