Brooklyn,NY native Stix Bones started his career beating the skins for the likes of Jessica CARE Moore (Poet), Lyricist Lounge, Rahzel The Godfather of Noize(The Roots). and DJ Maseo(De La Soul) Stix earned his bachelor's degree in music at Purchase College in NY. Stix became the drummer for internationally known group Soulfege. Lead by former Oprah Winfrey XM Sirius host Derrick N. Ashong. Stix has had the privilege to record two award-winning albums with Soulfege.
Stix, known for his drumming among artists, dipped into his pot of creativity producing projects in smooth jazz and soulful house music heard on Dj radio shows, mix-tapes and streaming playlist. The single "Waiting 4 Mr. Right" caught the interest of independent filmmaker Vera Edwards who gave Stix his first soundtrack opportunity
Derrick N Ashong reconnected with Stix to produce music for his Emmy nominated web series Take Back The Mic.
Stix has co-written and produced songs in various genres such as Hip Hop, Funk, Instrumental. Folk-Pop,Children and Dance fit for productions made for the big and small screen.
