How We Roll (2022)

Mason Wells is captivating, as much for his on-screen portrayals in films and on television as for his bright red curly hair. The 11-year-old actor has had a prolific career since age 7, with 12 films and five television series to his credit, and his highest profile project yet is scheduled to air this spring. Mason stars as Sam on the new CBS multi-cam comedy "How We Roll," premiering March 31 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Wells' range is evident in his work. Already having won acting awards for his roles in short films, he has two feature films in post-production that will dazzle audiences with his ability to master opposite genres - horror and family comedy. Wells stars as Tyler in the horror "Possessions" from famed director Brent Cote, appearing opposite Clive Standen and Yeardley Smith, beloved from her years on the legendary "The Simpsons." Wells crosses the genre spectrum starring as Odom Kearst in the family comedy "Furry Fortune."

Justin Ward, writer and director of "Furry Fortune," praised Wells' range: "He is the rare child actor that can do anything - from a mischievous villain to the curly-haired adorable kid next door."

Brent Cote lauded the child actor for his adult actor-level work ethic on "Possessions:" "I knew he was a special talent and a child who operated on a much higher maturity level... his preparation was on par with elite adult actors. I'd work with him again in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly believe he will be a special talent in our industry."

Wells also worked with director Justin Bateman in a supporting role in the feature film "Violet."

Next up, Wells is ready to dole out laughs in "How We Roll" opposite Pete Holmes, Katie Lowes and Chi McBride.

Active outside of acting, Wells is a competitive tennis player and enjoys parkour and indoor rock climbing. He loves to read, build LEGOs and explore science - which he had fun doing on six episodes of "Emily's Wonder Lab" on Netflix.
