Dhillraj

Dhillraj is an Indian Cinematographer. He has worked with many acclaimed directors in many languages viz., Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Malay (Malaysian Movie). He is known for his perfect natural lighting and handling high end cameras with latest technology. His usage of natural lighting and continuous uninterrupted shots in a Malaysian movie brought him accolades. He took his team members from India to Malaysia for the Malay movie. He was the first Cinematographer to use "Cooke Lens" for a Malay Movie.

Career: He started his career as a Cinematographer in 2010. His daring work in a helicopter scene and a car chase in the Malaysian Movie "Makrifat Cinta" is much spoken about. He is one of the few cinamatographers to have used Film negative for a movie (Thagaraaru) in the pre-digital era. The rain effect in climax chase in the movie "Thagaraaru" and the visual effect during the fight scene in rain and the song "GST" in the movie "Annadurai" added tributes to him. Filmography .
