FX has unveiled the first trailer for Ryan Murphy's upcoming Grotesquerie. The eerie trailer, which combines religious imagery with crime scene clips, includes a brief glimpse of Travis Kelce, who is making his acting debut in the 10-episode series. Niecy Nash-Betts, who collaborated with Murphy on the award-winning Dahmer Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, will lead Grotesquerie as Detective Lois Tryon, who is trying to uncover the unnerving mystery behind a series of crimes. Nash is heard in the trailer, as is a mysterious voice that teases: "This killer is sermonizing, proselytizing, preaching. To understand this monster we have to decipher these murders."

On Thursday, FX released the first teaser for “Grotesquerie,” its latest horror drama series from Ryan Murphy. While lead actor Niecy Nash-Betts is featured prominently in the video in the role of Detective Lois Tryon, who’s trying to uncover the truth behind some horrific murders in a small town, viewers also get their first look at football star-turned-actor Travis Kelce. For me, it’s both a fascinating privilege and a daunting business to write about Evil. I mean, I had no idea that I’d be here sharing my love for this fantastic show with you all when I first clicked play on the pilot back in 2019. And now, while I continue to reel from the whimsical and very, very reference-heavy Fear of the Unholy, all I can think about is how there’s just one more episode to go until Evil closes up shop. But I wouldn’t worry too much about things being left unfinished next week. From the looks of what the penultimate episode has built up to, I think we’re either gonna be very thrilled or absolutely devastated by Evil’s ending. It’s always good to have closure either way, right?
