Da'Keisha Bryant

"Pack your bags, I'm sending you to California!" These are the words that Actress, Singer and Model, Da'Keisha Bryant can still remember her Father saying to her over the phone before her move to the big city. Never one to shy away from an opportunity, Da'Keisha has been gracing stages from the time she could walk and talk. At age twelve she started receiving compensation for her stage time. From church plays to shows she exhibited not only the passion for acting, but also her undeniable talent as well. With two tours of The Color Purple under her belt, along with acting roles/features in 'The Cupboard Presents, Kaidydid Productions, Pussy Willows, This is Us, Have a Nice Flight and a film called 4/21' Da'Keisha is no stranger to hard work and perseverance. She has also sang background for Fantasia Taylor at The Super bowl Gospel Explosion and served as the Costume Stylist for the "True First Documentary: Shirley Chisholm." "I had a dream and I went after it regardless of the obstacles" she states with confidence. "My family is the main reason I push so hard. I need them to know and feel that it was all worth it." With all that support behind her, she plans to push her talents to the limit. Having a broad target audience, Da'Keisha can rock a variety of looks from young to old. The goal is to reach women yearning for empowerment. BBW's are often categorized and she wants to change the shape of the game. "All women need to know, no matter what their size is, to strive for greatness within. Body positivity is important. Self-love is important. Being the happiest and healthiest you can be is important!"
