American actor, Mischa Hutchings is originally from Houston, Texas. She attended high school at Awty International School and graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in Fine Arts, focusing on theatre, art history, and philosophy.
After graduation, Mischa pursued stage work in Houston. She was a company member at the Main Street Theatre for Youth during the day while performing in theatrical productions around Houston in the evenings, including Stages Repertory Theatre, Catastrophic Theatre, Main Street Theater, and others. She also appeared in several commercials and short films.
Mischa then graduated from the University of Arkansas theatre MFA program in Acting. Directly after graduation she guest starred on season 3, episode 3, of HBO's "True Detective".
2021 included television films directed by two-time Juno Award Nominee, Peter Foldy. First, the Lifetime Network thriller "Help Wanted" in a supporting role of the rapacious and sensuous motel owner "Tammy" . The film stars Sara Fisher and Connor Floyd. The second, heart-warmer "Searching for Dr. Love". Mischa was lead supporting role "Lenore" chop-busting and loyal best friend to star Anna Marie Dobbins. Mischa recently was seen in the 2023 television film "Christmas at The Amish Bakery" as sneering boss Darla.
