Dinesh's debut film as writer is Overtake. He then wrote Confessions of a Cuckoo, based on a real life incident of an orphan girl. The film was critically acclaimed in many International Film Festivals 2020 and was officially selected for 3 festivals. Pathimoonnam Ratri, a suspense thriller, inspired from a news daily is his third film as writer starring Shine Tom and Vishnu Unnikrishnan as lead. Dinesh Neelakandan has acted and penned Hindi Dialogues for award winning short film Ruswa. Ruswa talks about The juvenile who committed crime has been released. He walks among us. He also comes across the protests, the news and the outrage of people like us. But he moves on. He lives on... Didn't she deserve to be alive too?
