Georgie Drew Mendum was a cousin of Lionel, Ethel and John Barrymore. Her father was Charles Albert Mendum (1849-1945) and her mother Louise Drew(1851-1888) was an older sister of Georgie Drew Barrymore-(mother of Ethel,Lionel&John) , John Drew Jr. and Sidney Drew of the Sidney Drew Vitagraph comedies. Her grandmother was the renowned Victorian actress and theatre owner Louisa Lane Drew (aka Mrs. John Drew).
