Abdullah Khan(IX)

Abdullah Khan is a Mumbai-based novelist, screenwriter, literary critic, and banker. Abdullah writes in English, Hindi, and Urdu, with working knowledge of Punjabi and Bhojpuri. His literary works and reviews have appeared in Brooklyn Rail (New York), Wasafiri (London), The Hindu (India), Frontline (India), Outlook (India), Scroll.in (India), The Daily Star (Bangladesh), and Friday Times (Pakistan). His debut film as a screenwriter, Viraam, was released in 2017. His first novel, Patna Blues, has been translated into several languages and is part of the University of Kerala's English literature curriculum. His latest screenwriting assignment was for TVF's 'Yeh Meri Family Season 3.' His recent novel, A Man from Motihari, was published by Penguin Random House in 2023.
