Nicole Murray is a queer producer, writer and actor bi-coastal to New York and Los Angeles. She has produced and acted in various productions including feature films "Love & Chaos" starring Bebe Wood and Christine Taylor, feature film "Death Perception" and award-winning short, "Entitled". She is also the co-founder of Svelte Dog Productions, a queer woman-led production company known for the award-winning web-series, "Dead Friends", and short, "Run Out Groove", which premiered in the Platinum Showcase at Outfest and consisted of a team of all queer and marginalized gendered cast and crew. Her most recent award-winning short, "3 EASY STEPS" consisted of an entirely woman and non-binary cast and crew.
Nicole's previous films have screened at Film Independent's Undocumented Filmmaker's Showcase ("Nine Nights"), Hollyshorts ("Run Out Groove" and "Entitled"), Newport Beach ("Entitled") and other festivals where they were nominated for various awards. "Entitled" won the Grand Jury Award at DC Shorts.
Nicole is an avid supporter of greater representation in film and volunteers for Film Fatales, a non-profit that advocates for film parity. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Washington, with years of research experience in the addiction and individual differences fields.
