Giedre Jackyte, London-based actress, dancer, and martial artist, was born in Kazlu Ruda, a small countryside town in Lithuania.
A few days after her 19th birthday, Giedre moved to London to study Dance at the University of Roehampton and obtained a BA (Hons) in performing arts. She also trained at the IDENTITY School of Acting to further extend her performance skills.
From a young age, Giedre was interested in sports, trained in Karate Kyokushin, and participated in national youth competitions. Giedre is now training in Eskrima Doce Pares, a form of Filipino martial arts and is a 2x World Champion. She also has gained an instructor's qualification and currently teaches at the Hybrid FMA club in London.
