Since the age of seven, Paige harbored a deep-seated ambition to create films. Her journey began when she received a 1988 RCA camera from her mother at thirteen, producing early short films starring her siblings-a pivotal moment igniting her passion for storytelling through film.
Throughout junior high and high school, her extracurricular activities centered around filmmaking, affirming her career path. Graduating in 2006, her aspiration to attend Full Sail University for film was sidelined by parental concerns, leading her to study Computer Animation at Modesto Junior College. Despite her efforts, she felt increasingly disconnected and unfulfilled.
After profound soul-searching, she made a deliberate decision to enlist in the U.S. Army. Her meticulous planning led her to excel in the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), securing the position of Visual Information Equipment Operator/Maintainer (25R MOS). This role immersed her in designing and constructing TV studios, mastering electronic engineering, lighting, sound, and camera sciences.
Following rigorous training, she served at the NSA and later at the White House during the Obama Administration from 2011 to 2015. Her tenure included diverse Audio-Visual roles, culminating in her position as Audio Visual Director, responsible for coordinating teams to manage complex AV setups for global events involving the President and Vice President.
Transitioning from military service, she pursued a BFA in Digital Filmmaking at The Art Institute of Washington, completing the program in an accelerated 2.5 years. With a strong desire to integrate into the Los Angeles filmmaking community, she pursued further education, gaining acceptance into the prestigious AFI (American Film Institute) for her Master's Degree-a pivotal step that shaped her career trajectory.
Her time at AFI proved transformative, solidifying her passion for filmmaking and expanding her professional network within the industry. Graduating in 2020 amidst unprecedented global challenges, she is poised to embark on the next phase of her career, armed with a completed thesis film and a steadfast determination to contribute to the cinematic landscape.
Paige has gone on to direct multiple award-winning projects, finding her voice in the mixed genres of comedy, drama, and camp. She has become one of the most sought-after directors for the vertical format series flooding the Western market, amassing over one hundred million views and counting. With a feature film in the works and more projects waiting in the wings, Paige continues to push boundaries of visual storytelling (especially for women, LGBTQ+ and veterans) and make her mark in the film industry.
