Stepan Burnashev, a director, writer, editor and producer, is an award-winning filmmaker with a unique perspective on cinematography. Without formal education in filmmaking, he embarked on his film career in 2009, creating his own films. Since then, his works have been recognized at various festivals, including Winter, Window to Europe, Warsaw IFF, Cheboksary IFF, Yakutsk IFF, and others.

Burnashev experiments in various genres and has become a recognized director, telling stories about self-discovery in the modern world. His film "First Love" won the Grand Prix in Cheboksary in 2015, "Khara khaar (Black Snow)" was awarded the Grand Prix at "Window to Europe" in 2020, "YT" won two prizes at Warsaw IFF and "Aita" won Best director and Best actor at Auteur Cinema Festival.

Collaborating with Burnashev means embracing a cinematic perspective with a human and universal touch. Burnashev strives to create films that can resonate with audiences worldwide. His determination and willingness to work in different parts of the world underscore his creative approach.
