- After graduating from Moscow State University with a diploma in journalism, Maria Ignatenko went on to study film directing at Moscow School of New Cinema. Her graduation film 'Yuha' was selected for the "Weekend of the Short Film" of the International Festival of Contemporary Cinema "2Morrow" in 2015.
