Biography

Sebastián Yatra (Medellín, 1994) is a bilingual singer and songwriter from Colombia who has earned huge success internationally and multiplatinum record sales throughout Latin America, Spain and the United States for his music releases across diverse genres: pop, urban and ballads. Having moved to the United States at a young age, he began participating in musical theater productions at his school which initiated what would be his first foray into art. Having received recognition for his early music and album releases in the years that followed, he began expanding his talent for performance through other arenas which allowed him to venture into the music reality show "Conecta y Canta" (Disney Plus, 2020) and at Premios Juventud (Univisión, 2019). He also gained recognition for his roles in multiple well-known animated films: "Pie Pequeno" (Warner Bros 2018) and "Klaus" (Netflix, 2019). After his special participation in the series "La Reina Del Flow" (Teleset and Sony Pictures Television, 2018), he now finds himself working in his most ambitious acting role, in which he plays the protagonist in a musical series which will premiere on Netflix titled "Érase una vez...pero ya no" under the direction of prestigious Mexican director Manolo Caro.
