Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar’s directorial witnessed one of the lowest openings for a Bollywood film in 2025. With only 1.20 crores on day 1, Emraan Hashmi stayed way behind his peers Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Himesh Reshammiya and even Arjun Kapoor.

There were no new releases in Bollywood this Friday. However, it looks like the audience lost interest in Emraan Hashmi’s film within days of its release. Ground Zero has concluded its box office run at 7.77 crore net, which is around 9.16 crore in gross total.

A few days ago, Emraan Hashmi surprised us with a totally new avatar in the teaser of Ground Zero, and now he is promising to deliver a hard-hitting film on Kashmir and its issues with the film trailer! Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, the film deals with the never-ending problem of terrorism in Kashmir and India’s struggle to deal with the same!

The premise of the film is clear: 70 soldiers lost their lives in yet another terrorist attack in Kashmir, and the officials decided to bring their best man to the mission – Bsf Officer Dubey, played by Emraan Hashmi.

The 2-minute 42-second trailer does not have anything new – it is the regular bomb shots, regular meat chunks scattered on an eerie road in Kashmir after the blast, and an officer getting nightmares as the first-hand witness of the bombing.

Mumbai, March 21 (Ians) Shriya Pilgaonkar is thrilled to be a part of her upcoming film Haathi Mere Saathi, where she features alongside Rana Daggubati.

Shriya took to Instagram on the International Day of Forests to share her experience of shooting in rainforests full of wild elephants. The trilingual film "Haathi Mere Saathi" marks the actress' Tamil and Telugu debut.

Shreya shared photographs on Instagram on Sunday evening where she can be seen happily posing with elephants and riding on their back. In one picture, the actress also hugs a tree.

She wrote: "It's not everyday that you get to film in a rainforest with wild elephants for company. This film demanded that we surrender to nature. Listen. Observe Learn. Actress Zoya Hussain said she has never been a fan of the idea of people getting work owing to the number of followers they have on social media. Although the trend of two-dimensional characterisation of women on screen is changing, Zoya feels most people are still averse to actresses wanting to try something different.

Mumbai, March 16 (Ians) Actor Rana Daggubati says it was challenging to shoot in the dense forests of Kerala for his new film Haathi Mere Saathi.

The team had to travel six hours from Kochi airport to reach the town that was close to a forest where the shoot had been planned. Once they reached there, they had to undertake an uphill off-road journey, till they reached the location.

The team was travelling by forest jeeps. Also, since they could only shoot till 5pm, the schedule had to start as early as 5am.

"We shot in some of the toughest locations -- two to three dense forests in Kerala. The forest near Shanthanpara where we first shot had been destroyed by floods. So, we had to relocate our shoot location to another forest. Getting to those locations was a challenge," says Rana.

Mumbai, March 12 (Ians) Actor Rana Daggubati feels his upcoming trilingual film "Haathi Mere Saathi" has the potential to change the game for Bollywood, and pull crowds to the theatres in massive numbers.

Rana plays the role of Bandev, a man who has spent his life in the jungle and is committed to protecting it.

"'Haathi Mere Saathi' is a story with a soul. It's a movie rooted deep in emotions and an enormity that can be realised only on the big screens. Just like the Southern industry, I strongly feel that our movie has the potential to bring the Hindi audience to the theaters too," the actor said.
