“Saturday Night Live”‘s longest-running cast member Kenan Thompson hinted that the Season 50 finale felt like an end of an era, and could portend some significant exits ahead of Season 51.

The sketch comedy series celebrated a milestone of 50 seasons of iconic characters, sketches and more since it first aired in 1975. But the “SNL” veteran said it felt especially “bittersweet.”

“Especially this year where it feels like there’s maybe, possibly, a lot of change next year,” he told Page Six Saturday.

The comedy show typically makes decisions on its new and returning cast members in the summer before the series returns to its late night slot in the fall. So far, no cast departure announcements have been made.

Following a pretty standard cold open featuring James Austin Johnson as Trump announcing his tariffs, as well as yet another appearance from Mike Myers as Elon Musk, Black took to the main Studio 8H stage as if he was being shot out of a cannon.

Though initially unsure if he should take another spin as host, the band playing Aerosmith’s “Back in the Saddle” prompted Black to grab a mic and use the entire studio as his stage. Not only could Bill Burr and Kieran Culkin (both currently in the Broadway revival of “Glengarry Glen Ross”) be seen in the crowd, but if you look closely, a few faces from “School of Rock” were visible as well.

In a major throwback to 2006, Jack Black returned to host Saturday Night Live this weekend, and he brought a My Chemical Romance tribute with him.

The 3x Golden Globe nominee channeled Gerard Way in the sketch ‘Goth Kid on Vacation’, which parodied the ’06 single ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ with a Jamaican reggae medley featuring Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim.

“When I was a young boy, my parents took me down to Jamaica for my high school spring break / they said ‘come to the pool,’ but I stayed in the room with my graphic novels so I could masturbate,” sang Black as he rode a Black Parade float on the beach decked out with the Jamaican flag.

Michael Longfellow played said teenage goth, donning combat boots, a black trench coat, choker necklace, and eyeliner, as he begrudgingly accompanied his family to Jamaica. The sketch began with a classic reggae tune sung by Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim, but eventually transitioned into a parody of My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome to the Black Parade,” with episode host Jack Black portraying the band’s frontman Gerard Way.
