Mike has written extensively for BBC radio, including over 20 series of The News Quiz, as well as The Now Show, Joe Lycett's Obsessions, The Museum of Curiosity, Lucy Porter in the Family Way, Lucy Porter's Lucky Dip, Dead Ringers, Domestic Science, Newsjack Unplugged, Rich Hall's US Breakdown and even the Today programme.

Television credits include: Have I Got News For You, 2020 - Thank you, Next!, and Comic Relief. He is a very experienced joke-writer for high-profile touring acts, and has written for major events such as The BBC News Awards, The BBC Radio & Music Awards and Women in Global Entertainment at the Cannes Television Festival. His scripts for theatre and film have been selected and received awards at international festivals, and he has a number of projects currently in development.

In 2017, he was awarded the BBC Radio Comedy Writers' Bursary.

He can be seen in the feature film Guardians, a number of BBC Three comedy sketches, and some adverts for travel insurance. He can be heard as Professor James Harcombe on the cult Beef and Dairy Network podcast.

He has performed stand up throughout the UK, the US, Romania and in the Panamanian jungle.
