Mumbai, March 24 (Ians) Actors Rrahul Sudhir and Mishkat Varma have shared about their ‘favourite’ festival — Holi, revealing how as a kid they used to wear old clothes and splash water balloons, and colours in their respective neighbourhoods.

Rrahul, portraying the character of Yug in the show ‘Dabangii Mulgii Aayi Re Aayi’ shared: “Holi was always one of my favourite festivals while growing up. It felt like stepping into a vibrant painting, filled with laughter and joy. While I was a child, every year, in the morning, my friends and I couldn’t wait to start our colourful adventures – we’d splash water balloons.”

Actor Rrahul Sudhir, who will be portraying the character of a wealthy guy Yug in the show ‘Dabangii-Mulgi Aayi Re Aayi’ said that playing such characters on television is the best thing.

Talking about his role in the show which has taken a leap of 14 years, Rrahul said: “Yug is a casual, typical hero and a typical main lead. He is charismatic and all things good but a little grey, which is fair right now. Eventually, it has a lot of twists and turns and has its own graph.”

Mumbai, May 3 (Ians) Television actor Rrahul Sudhir, who is part of ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’, has talked about turning a sadist and sinister for the television show.

“I am extremely comfortable working with Yash Sir And Mamta Ma’am. There is a sense of ease and transparency in the process. My most successful TV project is with them. I personally love their male leads, different, yet likeable simultaneously.”

He added: “Working with Colors feels like returning home after a long time. Also the character is kickass and I am loving it.”

Talking about his role, he said, “The character screams style and has emotions which are hidden. He is a sadist by all means and demands mildly sinister tones in the performance. I guess this is complex enough.”

TV star Mansi Srivastava is all set to add a twist of mystery to the plot of the romantic thriller series Ishq Mein Marjaawan 2, with her entry on the show.

In the upcoming episodes, Mansi enters the show as a mysterious character named Ahana, who helps protagonist Riddhima Raisinghania, played by Helly Shah, unveil certain dark secrets about her husband Vansh Raisinghania (Rrahul Sudhir). Vansh is convinced Ahana's entry in their lives is a ploy by Kabir (played by Vishal Vashishtha), his step-brother and Riddhima's former fiance.

After Vansh's sad demise, Kabir has threatened Riddhima to marry him or else he will kill everyone in the family one by one. Riddhima, with no option left, gives in to his demands, because she feels that the family is now her responsibility.

The wedding rituals begin, the would-be-couple exchange varmalas, and they find that the magalsutra is missing. While everyone is busy looking for the mangalsutra, the makers reveal that Ishani has hidden it.

Actor Rrahul Sudhir, who plays the lead in producer Mamta and Yash Patnaik’s show Ishq Mein Marjawa 2, had to stop everything and home quarantine himself when he tested positive for Coronavirus.

Now the actor has tested negative and is back on the sets. However, he hasn’t forgotten the difficult phase of illness where he not only clocked in his birthday in isolation but also was away from his first love – acting.

Recalling the time, he says, “I was scared and anxious, but you eventually make peace with it and just believe and hope that all this will subside,” and goes on to add, “Coming back on sets is a huge sigh of relief for my own sanity. Also, my team needed me desperately, it isn’t easy managing a television show.”
