Syed Ahad Hussain (aka Addy Hussain) is a Pakistani-American actor, director, and producer known for his work across international cinema, voice-over, and socially conscious media. He began his acting career as a child in the acclaimed Pakistani television serial Bhanwar (1985), introduced to the industry under the guidance of his father, the late veteran actor Syed Arshad Hussain, known for iconic PTV serials such as Khuda Ki Basti, Fifty Fifty, and Barzakh.
Hussain gained early recognition for his supporting role in the Oscar-nominated Bollywood film BABY (2015), directed by Neeraj Pandey. He later voiced leading characters in several high-profile Turkish television series dubbed for South Asian audiences, including Medcezir, Yaprak Dökümü, and En güzel Hikayem.
He received classical training in voice and stagecraft at Pakistan's National Academy of Performing Arts, studying under renowned mentors Zia Mohyeddin and Talat Hussain Warsi. Syed later expanded his performance career internationally with roles in the U.S. and UAE, including 44 Plays for 44 Presidents and You Can't Take It With You.
In addition to his entertainment career, Hussain is a California-based paralegal, civic advocate, creative producer, and legal strategist affiliated with the National Advocacy Broadcasting Council (NAB Council)-a nonprofit organization focused on law, media, and civic diplomacy between the U.S. and international communities.
