Was a bouncer (Head Doorman) in north-west England for years.

Was born April 5 1985 in St. David's Hospital, Bangor, north Wales. The hospital was subsequently torn down and a Matalan superstore erected in its place, where James worked in early 2003.

Previously worked as a stand-up comedian. He was praised for his ability to perfectly mimic celebrities and to quickly pick-up accents. This can be shown in his character work with Happy Buzz Entertainment (www.youtube.com/thisishappybuzz).

Owns and runs the Reality Based Urban Defence (rbud.co.uk) self-defence school, where he is the Chief Instructor. He is a highly qualified instructor, having been certified by the British Combat Association (BCA) in the Real Combat System of Self-Defence; the British Marital Arts and Boxing Association certified Self-Defence Instructor; Hatton Academy certified coach (Boxing).

March 2024 was interviewed by the BBC for their podcast on filmmaking and script writing.

March 2024 short film Who's Marina? made an Official Selection for the Rhyller Thriller Festival.
