If you are a fan of actor and filmmaker Dominic Brunt, you will no doubt be interested in our new interview with him, which has just been uploaded onto YouTube. Brunt has directed numerous horror films, including Attack of the Adult Babies and Wolf Manor. Outside of the horror genre, Brunt has also been playing Paddy Kirk in Emmerdale since 1997, so he is clearly a major celebrity who the British public will be very familiar with.
Brunt regularly attends FrightFest, and he was there this year to promote Broken Bird, which had its world premiere at the event. Written by Brunt and directed by his wife, Joanne Mitchell, Broken Bird tells the story of a mortuary assistant named Sybil (Rebecca Calder), who undergoes a downward spiral into the depths of madness, resulting in her causing harm to those who cross her path.
The film was shot in Serbia, and it...

Abslom Daak, Doctor Who’s Dalek serial killer, needs his own adult-oriented spinoff. Every incarnation of the Doctor has fought the Daleks: genocidal aliens bent on exterminating all other life. They have come to fear him over the years. However, there is another Doctor Who character the Daleks fear, one who made a fleeting cameo on TV but has had a rich history in the comics.
Created by Terry Nation, the Daleks first appeared in the second story of Doctor Who’s first season. The Daleks ignited the imagination of the British public, creating “Dalek-mania’ and propelling Doctor Who into the top echelons of science fiction television. The Daleks have fought the Doctor often, with most battles ending in a Time Lord victory; over time he has become the mortal enemy of the Daleks. The Daleks' hatred of the Doctor — and the Time Lords as a whole — spurred the Last Great Time War,...

It's the most wonderful time of the year. I'm talking about Beyond Fest: probably one of the best (if not the best) genre film festivals in Los Angeles. Every year they seem to top themselves with the screenings they hold. This year, they had an incredible Rrr screening in IMAX at the Tcl Chinese Theatre and a William Shatner triple feature with Shatner himself in attendance. But today, I'll be talking about a movie that will be your new favorite Christmas killer robotic Santa movie. I'm talking about the new Joe Begos joint, Christmas Bloody Christmas.
I was lucky enough to attend the world premiere at the Hollywood Legion Theater filled with Christmas cheer, Santa hats from everyone, and a killer robot Santa photo op. So, without further ado, let me tell you what this movie is all about: "...it’s Christmas Eve and fiery record store owner Tori Tooms...
