Iron Man 3000 Concept Art Reveals Scrapped(?) Plans For A Morgan Stark-Led Project
Image
Following some revealing concept art for Avengers: Doomsday and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, some more artwork from Mushk Rizvi's official site appears to confirm that Marvel Studios was planning to move forward with a project focusing on the daughter of Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Morgan (Lexi Rabe), following in her father's footsteps.

The artwork is marked "Iron Man 3000," and shows a teenage/young adult Morgan Stark in a couple of different Iron Man-inspired suits. It looks like an older take on Pepper was also going to feature.

We don't have many details, but it seems Morgan was going to grow up to be a racecar driver (while no doubt fighting crime on the side). There's speculation that the project was being developed as an animated series, but that has not been confirmed.

Of course, the title comes from Morgan telling her father...

10 Underrated MCU Characters You Completely Forgot About
Image
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced so many characters over the course of 34 movies and over 20 TV shows that it can be hard to keep track of who's who. There are gods, mutants, witches, and superhumans galore. With all these characters constantly moving throughout the MCU, it's easy for some to fall through the cracks of public conscience.

More often than not, audiences scratch their heads asking, "Who's that?" when someone outside the major hero lineup appears, especially characters that pop up in end-credits scenes like Clea or Starfox. But no matter how small their roles or how long ago they last appeared on-screen, these forgotten characters deserve to be remembered for the evolving and impactful roles they could have in the McU's future.

Morgan Stark Allegedly Making Comeback to the MCU

Morgan Stark Allegedly Making Comeback to the MCU - Main Image

Morgan Stark only appeared in Avengers: Endgame, but she managed to be an integral emotional anchor for Tony Stark and the entire plot.

Though she has mostly been forgotten since the events of the last Avengers film, there is a chance she could be coming back to the MCU—and Marvel already has an actress in mind.

Is Morgan Stark Returning to the MCU?

Insider @MyTimeToShineH (via @update_marvel) reports that Morgan Stark could be returning to the MCU. She would be played by 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford.

Admittedly, Lexi Rabe played Morgan in Avengers: Endgame, but anyone who pays attention to deleted scenes knows that Langford was originally cast as an adult Morgan Stark who visits Tony during his vision after he uses the Infinity Gauntlet—not unlike the scene where Thanos snaps his fingers and has...

Marvel's biggest missed opportunity is reportedly returning to the MCU
Image
Marvel Studios had a pretty flawless run throughout its Infinity Saga. Sure, some movies were weaker than others, and not all of its run was smooth-sailing, but for the most part, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's long-form storytelling was a game-changing hit, enjoying levels of consistent box office success that had never been seen before, and acclaim from both fans and critics.

Avengers: Endgame brought about an incredible culmination to that story, leaving fans feeling all kinds of emotions. The Avengers' defeat of Thanos was a bittersweet moment as it came with the sacrifice of Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man. It was a heartbreaking conclusion that brought about the end of one era and the beginning of another.

One character was involved in that in a very effective manner, but there were almost two versions of that same character in that movie. Now, we might finally see the second...

1-Word Response From Tony Stark’s Daughter From Endgame Perfectly Explains How Emotionally Draining It’s Going to be to Watch Robert Downey Jr as Doctor Doom
Image
Ever since the Russo Brothers and Robert Downey Jr. at the San Diego Comic-Con dropped the bombshell announcement about the actor’s return as Doctor Doom, Marvel fans have been buzzing with excitement and confusion alike. Well, not just fans, even a slew of MCU actors were left scratching their heads over this announcement.

Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame | Marvel Studios

Spanning from Anthony Mackie to Gwyneth Paltrow, several Avengers: Endgame stars reacted to the news of Robert Downey Jr. leaving behind his beloved Tony Stark aka Iron Man role to play a supervillain in MCU. But amid the confusion, one actress who perfectly captured the collective disbelief is the Morgan Stark actress Lexi Rabe.

Avengers: Doomsday - Jeremy Renner Responds To Robert Downey Jr.'s MCU Return: "The Sob Didn’t Say Anything"
Image
Despite the rumors, the Sdcc announcement that Robert Downey Jr. would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom after playing Tony Stark for over a decade came as a surprise to fans - as well as quite a few of his co-stars.

It seems Downey Jr. and Kevin Feige attempted to keep things under wraps by telling as few people as possible, with Brie Larson recently revealing that she was completely taken aback by the news after speaking with the Marvel Studios boss just before Comic-Con.

Gwyneth Paltrow also responded to Rdj's Instagram post with confusion, and Florence Pugh seemed completely gobsmacked when asked about the Doom development in a video interview.

Now, Jeremy Renner has revealed that he never heard a thing, despite being part of an active group chat with Rdj and the other original Avengers.

"I had no idea. The son of a bitch...

1 Deleted Robert Downey Jr. Moment From Civil War Would Have Badly Messed Things Up in Avengers: Endgame
Image
One deleted moment in Captain America: Civil War could have ruined the entire arc of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man. In an earlier draft of the movie, Tony Stark makes a statement that implies that he and Pepper Potts are having a baby. While the characters eventually have a baby in the MCU, it happens much later in the films. Stark’s very young daughter served as one of the biggest emotional factors in Iron Man’s final appearance.

Another scene was cut from Avengers: Endgame, an interaction between Tony Stark and a very adult Morgan Stark, played by Katherine Langford, in the Soul World. This scene would’ve also confused fans and negatively impacted his scenes with Lexi Rabe’s young Morgan in the film.

Casting The Pevensie Children For Greta Gerwig's Chronicles Of Narnia Reboot
Image
Casting slightly older actors as the Pevensie children in the Chronicles of Narnia reboot is crucial for handling complex conflicts believably. Actors like Elliot Grihault, Florence Hunt, and Lexi Rabe fit well as Peter, Susan, and Lucy, respectively. Actors like Walker Scobell, Roman Griffin Davis, or Iain Armitage for Edmund and Eustace would showcase initially unlikable yet charming personalities.

Casting the children of the Pevensie family well will be one of the most important tasks for Greta Gerwig and her team to accomplish with the reboot of The Chronicles of Narnia. Following the cultural phenomenon of Barbie, the acclaimed director was contracted to write and direct the first two movies in Netflix's reboot of C.S. Lewis' classic fantasy series. While some actors who often work with Gerwig would be well-suited to the roles of the older characters, the Pevensie children and their cousin Eustace are likely to be...

Iron Man MCU Return Could Bring Back Endgame's Cut Character
Image
One cut character from Avengers: Endgame could return to the MCU instead of Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man. Rumors of Rdj's return to the MCU have been circulating since Tony Stark's sacrifice at the end of Avengers: Endgame, with the Multiverse Saga perhaps providing the perfect opportunity for him to come back as a variant of the McU's main Iron Man. Now that Marvel Studios has kicked off Phase 5 of their shared universe, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars are in sight, with the latter speculated to include many returning superheroes from other franchises and the McU's history.

In the lead-up to Phase 4's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, many expected a variant of Tony Stark to appear as a member of Earth-838's Illuminati, but even though several iconic heroes were present, Stark's Multiversal Iron Man was missing from the line-up. However, this...

Image
This article contains some MCU spoilers

With the Marvel Comics we know today being founded in 1939 (originally known as Timely Comics), there are decades of stories and characters ready to be adapted for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Navigating a Galactus-sized franchise like the MCU means we expected some characters would be lost to the Multiverse.

Whether it’s old favourites stopping by for a cameo or a brand-new addition being saved for another day, it’s more than the odd scene being left on the cutting room floor. Sometimes, whole characters are given the boot and banished to Gorr the God Butcher’s Shadow Realm. Saddle up because here are 12 characters who were once cut from the MCU.

Iron Man Deleted Scene Perfectly Set Up Tony Stark’s Entire Arc
Image
A deleted scene from Iron Man perfectly sets up Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) arc in the MCU. Marvel Studios' inaugural hero had one of the best character developments in the franchise - potentially the best when compared alongside the franchise's exsiting roster. As tragic as Iron Man's Avengers: Endgame death was, it wrapped up his whole narrative in a poetic way. While Marvel Studios did a great job fleshing out Stark in his 11-year stint in the universe, one of the best scenes that could have effectively set up his storyline ended up on the editing room floor.

In a deleted scene from Jon Favreau's Iron Man, Stark laments about how easy it is to get a reputation — something that haunted him and motivating him to work hard to cast off his original image as a self-centered war-profiteering industrialist. Behind his cool demeanor, the Avenger was...

Katherine Langford Addresses Potential MCU Return As Iron Man's Daughter
Image
Katherine Langford was cut from Avengers: Endgame as Morgan Stark, and the actress is now addressing if she will return as Iron Man's daughter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The end of Phase 3 and the Infinity Saga completely changed the landscape of the MCU moving forward by killing Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. Avengers: Endgame's ending saw Iron Man use the Infinity Stones to defeat Thanos, even though it meant sacrificing himself. Marvel Studios worked tirelessly to give Tony Stark a great send-off, which originally was meant to include him seeing an older version of his daughter played by 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford in the Soul World.

The decision to cut Katherine Langford's role as Iron Man's daughter in Avengers: Endgame has since left the character with an uncertain future. Marvel Studios released the deleted scene to give audiences a glimpse of what could have been,...

Silk Road Review: Dark Web Mastermind Gets a Choppy Biopic
Image
Silk Road tells the true story of Ross Ulbricht; the infamous dark web mastermind better known as his online moniker, "Dread Pirate Roberts". A brash egomaniac with an ultra-libertarian, anti-government philosophy, Ulbricht created the "Silk Road", an untraceable Amazon-esque marketplace for narcotics and illegal goods on the internet. The film charts his meteoric rise and fall, in tandem with the unhinged DEA agent who initially found him. Silk Road has a choppy, Wikipedia styled narrative that explores the radical extremes of both men. It could have used a more cinematic flow, but is certainly interesting to see.

We first meet Ross Ulbricht (Nick Robinson) at a bar in San Francisco circa 2011. He rails to his best friend (Daniel David Stewart) against the government for restricting personal freedoms. His diatribe catches the attention of the fetching Julia (Alexandra Shipp). She's impressed by his brash demeanor and ideology. Ulbricht wants to change the world.

"This guy's the first Millennial gangster." Lionsgate has unveiled an official trailer for a movie called Silk Road, telling the rise & fall story of the founder of the infamous darkweb drug website called "Silk Road". This hasn't premiered at any film festivals and is heading straight to VOD in February for any curious to watch. Also starring Katie Aselton, Jimmi Simpson, Daniel David Stewart, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Lexi Rabe, Will Ropp, with Paul Walter Hauser, and Alexandra Shipp. I really wish this looked better than it does; it's a cool story to tell, but this seems...

Katherine Langford on ‘Spontaneous’ and Why She Watched ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Dailies with Robert Downey Jr.
Image
Katherine Langford has yet to miss in her young career.

The Australian actor already has a mighty impressive resume that includes two hit Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why and Cursed, as well as two esteemed films in Knives Out and Love, Simon. In her latest return to the screen, Langford stars in Brian Duffield’s Spontaneous, a high-concept sci-fi comedy that is currently registering a 97% score among Rotten Tomatoes critics.

Spontaneous focuses on Langford’s Mara and her budding relationship with Charlie Plummer’s Dylan. The catch is that their love story begins amid a rising pandemic involving spontaneously exploding teenagers at their high school. Even though the film was shot in early 2018, the film has direct parallels to the novel coronavirus pandemic, something none of the creatives could have seen coming.

“In terms of the relevancy, no one could’ve imagined how this would hit when we made it three years ago,...

Stargirl Season 1 Finale Featured A Cameo From An Avengers: Endgame Actress
Image
We’re used to familiar faces from the DC multiverse turning up for cameo roles in The CW’s TV shows, but we weren’t expecting one of the stars of the highest-grossing Marvel (or otherwise) movie of all time to show up in Stargirl. The DC Universe/CW series reached its season 1 finale this week and it featured a brief role from an actress most known for her fan favorite part in Avengers: Endgame.

In “Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. Part 2,” Stargirl and the Justice Society had to work fast to stop the Injustice Society from brainwashing the whole country. The first stage of the villains’ evil plan involved Brainwave controlling all the adults in Blue Valley, leaving them frozen to the spot. To personify the horror of what’s happening, we witness a scared young girl trying to wake her dad from this strange state.

Avengers: Endgame Deleted Scene Creates A Big Infinity Stone Plot Hole
The advent of Disney Plus last November meant we got a look at a bunch of Avengers: Endgame deleted scenes that we never saw before. One of the more notable was a sequence originally intended to slot in after Iron Man uses the Infinity Stones at the movie’s climax. In one sense, the scene adds an extra emotional weight to Tony’s sacrifice and also gives him some more closure. However, in another, it arguably opens up a massive plot hole, so perhaps it’s for the best that it was removed from the final cut.

In a mirror of Thanos encountering young Gamora in the Soul World in Avengers: Infinity War, Tony enters a strange orange realm and meets a teenage version of his daughter Morgan Stark, as played by Knives Out star Katherine Langford. This allows him to see how Morgan grows up before he dies, with...

Avengers: Endgame Script Confirms Cassie Lang And Morgan Stark’s Ages
Fans had so many questions about the nuts and bolts of Avengers: Endgame once they got to see it back in April. And after all these months, many of them have now been answered thanks to the release of the movie’s script. Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely’s mammoth 149-page screenplay has arrived online and features additional scenes and descriptions that better explain certain parts of the film.

In particular, the script helps clear up any mystery over a few characters’ ages. We’ve previously reported on how it confirms that the elderly Steve Rogers is officially 112 years old by the time he’s sitting on that bench but what’s more is that it also reveals exactly how old two of the Avengers’ offspring are in Endgame. Namely, Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Emma Furhmann) and Morgan Stark (Lexi Rabe), child of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.

The 23-year-old actress went on to call Downey and the experience "magical," and noted that Marvel fans are the reason the scene is even there to see. "That's what I was told, that...

“Avengers: Endgame” has officially made its streaming debut thanks to the launch of Disney+, and Marvel Studios has rolled out a handful of must-see special features to go along with the online debut of the highest grossing film in box office history. Five “Endgame” deleted scenes with commentary from directors Joe and Anthony Russo are available to stream. The cut sequences are different from the six deleted scenes that appear on the “Endgame” Blu-ray, and one scene is the much-touted moment between Robert Downey Jr. and “13 Reasons Why” breakout actress Katherine Langford.

The Russo brothers revealed in May during an appearance on MTV’s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast that Langford was cast as the adult version of Tony Stark and Pepper Pott’s daughter Morgan (played by Lexi Rabe as a young girl). Langford filmed a dream sequence in which Tony Stark meets his teenage daughter after he snaps...

Seven-Year-Old Avengers: Endgame Star Responds To Online Bullying Incident
Seven-year-old actress Lexi Rabe, who was recently seen as Morgan Stark in Avengers: Endgame, has today issued a statement to the world: “please don’t bully me.” Pull the plug; the Internet was a mistake.

For those not in the know, Rabe was targeted by one fan online, seemingly disgruntled at the fact that her and her mother were unable to stop and sign an autograph or pose for a photograph. In a video posted via Instagram, Rabe’s mother acknowledged that the young actress, who also starred in last month’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, can act goofy and “silly” while in public, before reminding the world that she’s just seven years old.

Per Instagram:

I hate that we even have to post this. But yet again Lexi’s getting bullied. And this kind of thing makes it celebrities never want to leave the house never want to meet people.

7-Year-Old Avengers: Endgame Star Asks Fans to Stop Bullying Her & Her Family
Lexi Rabe
7-year old actress Lexi Rabe has been the victim of bullying online and out in public. Rabe portrayed Tony Stark's daughter in Avengers: Endgame and made Marvel Cinematic Universe fans from all over the world tear up with her "I love you 3000" line. On her personal Instagram account, which is run by her mother Jessica, the young actress posted a video where she is explaining her behavior out in public and stating that she is not perfect. This is really not something any 7-year old should have to be doing.

Jessica Rabe does not go into any specific instances of the bullying in her lengthy message posted at the bottom of Lexi's video. She insinuates that people have treated them badly in public, possibly for not stopping to give autographs. She also insinuates Alexandra Rachael Rabe is starting to become self-conscious in public due to this bullying. As for the cyber bullying,...

Seven-Year-Old Avengers: Endgame Actress Being Bullied By Angry Fans
You’d think that Tony Stark’s heroic sacrifice to save humanity at the end of Avengers: Endgame would have taught people to chill out and be nice to everyone because, guess what, half the universe could disappear in an instant. Unfortunately, that lesson didn’t translate into the real world.

Iron Man’s real-life family, specifically the seven-year-old actress Lexi Rabe and her parents, have recently come under siege from disgruntled fans, both on and offline. It’s gotten to be so disruptive to their lives, in fact, that they had to take to social media to specifically ask people to stop harassing them.

Lexi’s mother, Jessica, posted a video of the child actress on Instagram recently coupled with a long message. In the video, “Wexi,” the precocious youth, talks about how she is, in fact, a seven-year-old kid who’s not perfect. “I mess up sometimes,” she says,...

Katherine Langford Spotted On The Set Of Avengers: Endgame
Aside from plenty of melancholy moments and action-packed setpieces, Avengers: Endgame is full of surprising cameos, including the final appearance of legendary comic book writer Stan Lee, who passed away late last year at the age of 95. Even though the latest Marvel film saw the unlikely return of minor players such as Jane Foster and Howard Stark, among many others, there’s one interesting character that got cut from the final theatrical release.

As we previously reported, late last year, 13 Reasons Why starlet Katherine Langford joined the cast of Avengers: Endgame, though, at the time, her mysterious role was kept under wraps. Plenty of fan theories started popping up, with some speculating she could be playing Kate Bishop, and others guessed she would be portraying an older Cassie Lang. While that particular role ended up going to Emma Furhman, it was eventually revealed the Russo brothers had intended for Langford...

It was reported that Langford had already shot her scenes and her mysterious role was an important one. Fast forward to April 26, 2019, and Endgame was finally released without a shred of Langford to be seen! Langford has kept mum on her character's absence, but directors Joe and Anthony Russo have finally explained who she was and why she was cut.

Langford was meant to appear toward the end of the film, during the giant superhero battle between all the Avengers and Thanos.

[Editors’ note: The following post contains spoilers for “Avengers: Endgame.”]

Last October, Disney and Marvel Studios announced “13 Reasons Why” breakout Katherine Langford had been cast in a secret role in “Avengers: Endgame.” The casting gave the rising 23-year-old actress her biggest film project yet after scoring a Golden Globe nomination for her Netflix series and landing a starring role in Fox’s “Love, Simon.” However, anyone who has seen “Endgame” can tell you Langford is nowhere to be found during the film’s three-hour runtime. It turns out Langford’s appearance from the film was entirely scrapped by directors Joe and Anthony Russo.

In an interview on the MTV podcast “Happy Sad Confused,” the directors revealed Langford filmed a brief scene for “Endgame” as the adult version of Tony Stark and Pepper Pott’s daughter Morgan (played by Lexi Rabe as a young girl). Langford was set to appear in a dream sequence once Tony/Iron Man...

Joseph Baxter May 6, 2019

13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford was supposed to show up in Avengers: Endgame, but her role got cut. We now know who she played.

Warning: Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame ahead!

Avengers: Endgame certainly doesn’t need us, or anyone, to rhetorically butter its bread any further, having just passed $2 billion worldwide at the box office in only its second week. – It’s the biggest movie ever… ‘nuff said. In an interview on MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the Russo Brothers finally confirmed Katherine Langford’s mystery role in Avengers: Endgame as Tony Stark’s daughter, Morgan Stark, or more specifically,...

Katherine Langford’s Secret Role In Avengers: Endgame Has Been Revealed
Late last year, it was announced that 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford had signed up to join Avengers: Endgame in a mysterious role. Various theories surrounded the casting, with a common one suggesting she could be playing Kate Bishop. When the movie arrived in April, however, Langford was nowhere to be seen, leaving fans to wonder what character was she supposed to portray and why was she cut?

Now, the Russo brothers have finally revealed the answer. While speaking to Josh Horowitz on his Happy Sad Confused podcast, the filmmakers confirmed that Langford was brought onboard to play an older version of Tony and Pepper’s daughter Morgan Stark. Though the role was always going to be portrayed by Lexi Rabe for the most part, Langford would have appeared in a vision Tony would’ve experienced following his use of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Prior to his death, he would’ve...
