Aliyar Rasti
Born in Tehran, 1988, Aliyar Rasti is an Iranian filmmaker whose artistic journey began in visual arts, including video installations and photography, before transitioning to filmmaking. He has directed over ten music videos for independent Iranian bands, showcasing his creative versatility.
Rasti's debut feature film, The Great Yawn of History, received the Special Jury Prize in the Encounters section of Berlinale 2024, marking a significant milestone in his career.
