Exclusive: Cameras have started rolling on How to Rob a Bank, a crime comedy starring Tell Me Everything actor Eden H. Davies.
Set in a small English seaside town, the film follows a Cornish teenager (Cameron Ashplant), who prepares for and conducts a robbery on a small local bank. While preparing and robbing the bank he listens to a podcast hosted by a fake New York Heist expert (Eden H Davies).
Principal photography has begun, with production taking place in Cheshire and the island of Guernsey. Lydia Cherry (Black Mirror) also stars in a currently undisclosed role. The project originates from the Guernsey-based Across the Channel Productions, with Matthieu Mayer (Whispers of Freedom) attached to produce, and Charley Kendall (A Silent Imprisonment) set to direct.
The film was written by Ashplant. His previous credits include playing Alex in Marooned Awakening, Chris in Whispers of Freedom, and Jamie in the Netflix series The Last Bus.
