Eli-Bella Wood is a filmmaker and actor known for her debut film Death Drive, which premiered in 2025 at the acclaimed Slamdance Film Festival in the Experimental Shorts category. The six-minute western noir was met with excitement by audiences and critics, who described Wood's first short as "a surreal and nightmarish journey into the subconscious", drawing comparisons to the early work of the surrealist titan and cinematic innovator David Lynch.
Since starting her acting career in 2022, Eli-Bella Wood's credits on screen and stage include Toronto Fringe Festival's sold-out drama, "On A Sunday in August" (2024), and several lead and ensemble roles in Canadian and international productions that will premiere in the 2025 film festival circuit.
She is based in Toronto, Canada and is developing her first feature-length film.
