Darren was nominated for a 2025 Canadian Screen Award as Best Host, Web Program or Series for Ruby Tries Everything. Darren also plays Ruby on the ACTRA Award nominated series, Pink Is In and appears as Miss Ogyny in the short film, Ramblings of a Middle-Aged Drag Queen. Darren wrote the screenplay for the dramatic short film, Stroke of Fate, which had its streaming premiere on CBC Gem.
