Born February 7th, 1965 In Heidelberg, Germany as Alexander Gaefe. Artist name between 2000 and 2014 Alexander MacG. Moved with his mother and younger sister at the age of 11 to Hamburg, Germany. Black&white laboratory in the basement of the grandparents and first photo exhibition with 15 in Hamburg. Apprenticeship as orthopedic shoemaker. Photo assistant of well-known photographers like F.C.Gundlach and B.Weber in the 80s. Then independent photographer until the end of the 80s.

At the beginning of the 90s, TV-producer at various advertising agencies (including Lintas Hamburg). 1992 Development of the first interactive television broadcast shows, as well as interactive TV test areas in Cambridge UK, Munich and Hamburg. 1994 Founder of Multiversum Media Lab (Bank24, LH CityCenter released on the Internet, Freeport as the first virtual city).
