Born on June 3, 1960, Rich Bisaccia is a native of Yonkers N.Y He and his wife Jeanne have three daughters - Michele, Elizabeth and Maddie - a son - Richie- and two grandchildren - Joel and AnnaJean. He began his football career at Yankton College in South Dakota playing in the defensive back position. After graduation he moved to coaching where he spent nineteen season coaching at the NCAA level with time spent at Clemson, Mississippi and South Carolina. His NFL coaching career started in 2002 where he was the special teams coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a job he held until 2010. While with the Buccaneers he was part of the Super Bowl XXXVII Championship team which occurred during his first season as NFL coach. Bisaccia spent two season with the San Diego Chargers before his 2013 arrival in Dallas. Since joining the Dallas Cowboys, Bisaccia has helped produce a successful special teams unit that includes placekicker Dan Bailey who, under Bisaccia's guidance, became the NFL's all-time most accurate field goal kicker in 2014. Through the 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2-16 seasons, the Dallas special teams unit have earned spots in the Pro Bowl and leading kicking records in the NFL. For his efforts, Bisaccia was named assistant head coach in Dallas entering his 16th season in the NFL.
