Steven Littles Signs With Exclusive Artists Agency

Steven Littles (The Prisoner’s Daughter) has signed with Bailey Rae Harrison at Exclusive Artists Agency.

Littles recently appeared in Self Reliance, alongside Jake Johnson and Anna Kendrick, which reached No. 1 on Hulu, and Picture Me Dead directed by Chris Stokes.

In his 20s, Little was an image consultant for recording artists such as Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah and Boyz II Men. However, it was his move to Los Angeles in 2004 that changed the course of his career — he decided to pursue being an actor. In 2022, Littles has won Best Actor at The Rome International Movie Awards for The Invisible, directed by Michele Antonio Parisi. He played a homeless U.S. veteran.

‘Swagger’ Actor Ozie Nzeribe Joins Cast Of Tubi’s ‘Rock The Boat 2’

Exclusive: Ozie Nzeribe (Swagger) has joined the cast of the Tubi film Rock The Boat 2, a project by Footage Films directed by Chris Stokes and producer Marques Houston.

The film follows Millie (Parker Mckenna), who, after losing her memory of her tragic past, tries to pick up the pieces but is terrified when chaos follows her and her friends’ every move.

Nzeribe will play Durell, a young and witty brainiac who’s a bit of a nerd who gets invited to a weekend getaway with his cousin’s friend. Once they are all at the lake house everyone’s motives change.

The cast also includes Parker McKenna, Loretta Devine, Zonnique Pullins, Katlynn Simone, Cynthia Bailey, Iyana Halley, Justin Sweat, Judi Johnson, Jarell Houston, Carnetta Jones, Khylin Rhambo, Dwight Boyce, Janina Gordillo, Farrah Hines, Steven Littles, Alimi Ballard, Shah Granville and Candice Marie.

Christopher B. Stokes, the directors of such films as House Party 4, You Got Served, Somebody Help Me, Somebody Help Me 2, The Stepmother, and The Stepmother 2, is about to send four more movies out into the world over the course of just three months – and it’s all thanks to the Tubi streaming service. Continuing to get into original programming (previous Tubi originals include the Terror Train remake and its sequel), Tubi has teamed up with Footage Films to bring four “Black cinema thrillers” to their service. Stokes has directed all four of the movies and wrote the scripts for each one with Marques Houston.

Tubi has joined forces with Footage Films to premiere four original Black-led thrillers, Variety lets us know this week, each of them directed by Christopher B. Stokes (The Stepmother).

The four films coming soon to Tubi are titled The Assistant, Best Friend, You’re Not Alone and No Way Out, and you can learn more about each of them over on Variety.

In You’re Not Alone, for starters, which premieres on March 24, 2023…

Tubi is set to launch four new original Black cinema thrillers from Footage Films: “The Assistant,” “Best Friend,” “You’re Not Alone” and “No Way Out.”

The four upcoming thrillers are directed by Christopher B. Stokes from scripts the filmmaker co-wrote with Marques Houston. Stokes and Houston also serve as executive producers on the films, with Footage Films president Juanita Stokes as producer. Tubi has previously worked with Footage Films on several original films, including “The Stepmother” and “The Stepmother 2.”

Per the logline, “The Assistant” follows doctor Raven Fields (Erica Mena) who “finds herself drowning in work and looks to hire an assistant to help with her day-to-day. Tubi Orders ‘The Stepmother 2’ From Marques Houston & Chris Stokes; Erica Mena To Reprise Role

Exclusive: Tubi has greenlit the original thriller The Stepmother 2 from Marques Houston and Chris Stokes, a sequel to The Stepmother, with Erica Mena portraying Elizabeth Carter/Diana Valdez. The project is slated to premiere in December.

The Stepmother 2 picks up after Elizabeth, a woman with dissociative identity disorder, cheats death in a showdown with the Linbrook family, as she breaks free from the hospital with a new mission— find a new family and live happily ever after. Yet, as much as she longs for normalcy, she can’t escape her tormented past and will fight to protect her fairy tale at all costs.
