Yasiris Alvarado made her acting debut in Puerto Rico with a play for the Ibero-American Festival for the Arts, where she took the lead role in 2008. She went to the University of Puerto Rico and finished her Bachelor's Degree in Theater and Modern Languages. While attending college, she got accepted in the Puerto Rican Atheneum Conservatory. Later, having moved to Reading Pennsylvania, she has continued her career with theater groups, Reading Theater Project, and progressed to film with the web series Amazing Berks and the short film 'Traffic Opera.' She has been trained in the Philadelphia area for film auditioning, commercial auditioning, film acting and improvisation by Patrick Johnson (New York) , Jimmy Carter and Mike Lemons Casting.
