Biography

Caleb Testa is an American actor born in Saint Paul Minnesota. When he was only 2 years old, his family moved to Central and later Southern Mexico to become missionaries working with Aztec and Mayan Indian descendants. He lived in Mexico for 15 years and learned to speak, read and write Spanish fluently. Although he was home-schooled; through his multicultural experiences and extensive travels he gained a unique and broad perspective of the world. From a young age he began to write poems, songs and ideas for commercials and comedic skits. He also played guitar, harmonica and taught himself how to beat-box. Towards the end of his years in Mexico he gained employment working at a bar, painting and teaching English classes to his friends. Upon returning to Minnesota at the age of 18 he immersed himself in the working world -most notably the entertainment industry, starting out as a bouncer and eventually managing multiple nightclubs in Minneapolis during his 20's. During this period he learned many social acting skills and lessons that would later become useful in his acting career; he met and interacted with various celebrities and made many connections and acquaintances in the twin cities. It was through one of these connections that he landed his first acting role in a student film, and the seed was planted. Years later, he traded the entertainment industry for the corporate world and again started from an entry-level position, this time in customer service. He was quickly promoted and moved his way up to management levels, and also provided voice talent to multiple companies that he worked for. He then began taking acting classes at the Guthrie Theater, and became increasingly involved in the Twin Cities film scene. He has been signed by multiple local agencies and has appeared in films such as "Chaste" and "Betta Fish" among others.
