Amruta Dhongade is an Indian actress known for her work in Marathi television and cinema. She gained prominence with her role as Suman Patil (Summi) in the television series Mrs. Mukhyamantri.
She was born in Miraj, Maharashtra, and raised in Pune. Amruta completed her schooling at Renuka Swaroop Girls High School and pursued her college education at Bharati Vidyapith.
Amruta got her first big break in the Marathi film Mithun, where she played the lead role of Kanchi opposite Vishal Nikam. Her portrayal of Suman in Mrs. Mukhyamantri (2019) brought her widespread recognition. She also appeared in the television series Tu Chandane Shimpit Jashi in 2020.
