Lynn Kaplan from the time, she was 5 years old was singing around the house and asking her mother for singing lessons. Instead, this bright-eyed child ended up at ballet and not liking it. A few years later at Cherokee Day camp, she played a Monkey in the Wizard of Oz and that was the beginning of her love for all things Entertainment. . As a young Jewish child, she was picked to play a Chanukah scene lighting candles on the Auditorium stage at Webster Elementary. In Hebrew school, she played Vashti every year at Purim. As a child, her parents took her to see shows on Broadway where she saw Oliver and Fiddler on the Roof sitting in orchestra seats. She saw Barbara Streisand in the first rendition of Funny Girl. Thus began her love for Musical Theatre. At Northeast High School, she participated in the Choir and was on the Props crew on Fiddler on the Roof. After High School College graduation, she attended Temple University and at some point was a Radio, TV, and Film Major. She went on to do Regional Theatre at Studio Y Players in the chorus of South Pacific and Annie Get your Gun. She became a film extra in Taps, Trading Places, and Mannequin with all films shot in the Philadelphia area thereby joining AFTRA. She played an Ingenue in "As the Banana Turns", a riff on soap Operas at the Black Banana on Race Street in downtown Philadelphia. After raising two lovely children Sydney and Brandon Fink, she decided she wanted to take modeling lessons at John Robert Powers returning to her passion for performing Everything's Coming Up Roses at the Talent show. In 2017, she began to return to Film extra work, playing a churchgoer in "Offstage Elements". She worked with Philly's Casting Director Roz Fulton of Direction and Exposure who cast her in 2 Amazon Prime series in recurring roles. Both shows were filmed in Philadelphia and directed by Domini Supastar "Porte Richmond" and "Honey Child". In Porte Richmond, she played a Crazy Cat Lady named Rita and starred in a recurring role in 7 episodes of the series. InHoney Child she played Ramona Cleaver, a recurring character playing a Temple University Career Counselor which was filmed at her Alma Mater Temple University. She also received wardrobe credit for her participation in the film "The Road to Truth". She also played Cassie Stephenson in "Downtown Dreaming" showcasing her singing abilities by singing the love song from Titanic "My Heart Will Go On". At some point, she returned to acting classes with the legendary Acting coach John Pallotta where she met many actors and formed lasting friendships to this day taking On Camera Technique classes. She returned to the stage playing Shelley, a receptionist in the musical Uptown, and then in the Musical "Annie" where she took on the role of "Wacky" at Acting Naturally in Langhorne PA. In 2021 during the pandemic, she took on a web series project called "The Gray" playing the titular character Lottie Abbott opposite Saundra Johnson who played her best friend Renee which was written and directed by Bethel Shepard Bates. The Gray touched on serious racial subject matters and can be seen on "YouTube at Garden of Eden Productions". In addition to the web series, during the Pandemic, she took part in an Improv Troupe founded by Kent Scov called "LAC Comedy" where she did Improv over acting zoom classes hosted and led by Kent Skov who also ran a physical theatre in Los Angeles during Non-Covid times. She rehearsed weekly and did a "Live" show once a month on zoom which can be found on "YouTube ". She has been cast in "Witness" a SAG feature film directed by Deeva Gordon playing a teacher, Mrs. Braxton.
