An engineer turned filmmaker; screenwriting became his fervent forte. He has written a children's feature film 'Saalam Bachche' and rom-com drama. Farauq worked in the theatre as a writer & backstage support, as associate director in tele and feature films, and has directed short films. Writing poems is an equal passion.
Farauq is the screenplay and dialogue writer in the upcoming home production, 'Charak'. His screenplay for a short feature, 'Ru Ba Ru', won a Special Jury Mentioned Award at the prestigious Jaipur International Film Festival 2025.
To carry forward the independent voice of STC as a core team member, he is developing some interesting screenplays for the forthcoming home productions, films and Series.
