Anatolii Reeves

Anatolii Reeves is a Ukrainian model who came into United States to pursue his dream of becoming a professional actor. He graduated National University Odessa Maritime Academy and got a degree in engineering in 2016. However, he felt that his heart does not belong to being on board the ship. Taking all the money he earned working overseas, he bought himself a ticket to Los Angeles. "Coming to Hollywood. That's all I need", - he told his parents. " I'll be dancing on Hollywood Boulevard, Martin Scorsese is gonna drive nearby, see me dancing, open the door of his limo and say: "C'mon boy, I'm just about to shoot a new movie. You are a perfect part for it". That ain't happened. Instead he embraced the hardship of going to auditions and being rejected. Many times it came to the point of just surviving and trying to make some money to buy food, living in hostels, working as a background actor, book cover model, stand-in, at kid's birthday parties, even taking pictures with people as a Superman on Hollywood Boulevard. He doubted his life changing decision many times but his faith and passion towards cinematography kept him going. Anatolii often likes to go to the movies having a cup of tea. He thinks that eating a popcorn or eating in general in the theaters is a disgrace and disrespectful towards the director and people who put a lot of work into making the idea come out on the screen. Besides, watching the movies, he notices something else, like an error, an evil and something that is about to come and change the cinema once and for all.
