Actress. Born Lisbeth Gunilla Olsson in Johanneberg, Göteborg.

After completing her schooling at Majorna's girls' school, she enrolled at Skara "Skolscen" and was then accepted at "Scenskolan" (the Theatre Academy) in Stockholm in 1966. Already during her first year of student schooling, she was discovered by Yngve Gamlin, who gave her the lead role in his film Badarna (1968). In 1968 she participated in the controversial group set Zigenare (Gypsies) while still a student. After graduating in 1969, she worked at the Royal Dramatic Theatre until 1985, when she returned to her hometown, where she had acted in children's theatre and had a few minor television roles. She has often been confused with the actress Gunilla Olsson (I) (now Gunilla Norling), which has caused some problems for various dictionary makers.

Her debut role as Bua in Badarna (1968), which was her big breakthrough, has to some extent left its mark on her later roles as a slightly lush and healthy girl, such as her lead role in Kjell Grede's Klara Lust (1972), which in the somewhat ambiguous depiction of the nurse Violet in the series Dubbelstötarna (1980) and Dubbelsvindlarna (1982), who becomes involved in major scams. and maid in Vilgot Sjöman's tribute to the popular comedy Hur ska det gå för Pettersson? (1984). Other television roles have been in the children's series Ballongen spricker (1978), in Lars Molin's satire of institutional care in Fläskfarmen (1986) and as a nurse in the hotly debated Kristina Lugn's film adaptation I dödsskuggans dal (1986). Later, she has been seen in supporting roles in e.g. Hem till byn (1995, 1999 and 2002) and Hammarkullen (1997).
