Lindsay Hansen Park is an American born writer, Mormon historian and podcast-er. Her work and voice have been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal and more. She is a leading voice on issues surrounding Mormon culture, history, violence and generational trauma. In 2022 she served as the historical consultant for Hulu's Under the Banner of Heaven television series.
Born and raised in the Mormon faith(Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), Park got her start writing for the activist blog Feminist Mormon Housewives. In 2014 she launched the Year of Polygamy podcast, detailing the histories of Mormonism and Mormon plural marriage. She co-hosts the Sunstone Mormon History podcast and resides in Salt Lake City where she writes about Mormon issues.
